You’ll be connected to the on-call diabetes nurse when you call.
Emergency line
For urgent medical questions, we have an emergency line that is available 24 hours a day.
Other ways to get in touch
You can also reach out by email or get in touch with the Diabeter reception desk for assistance.
What can you call about during the scheduled call hours?
The scheduled call hours are for asking questions directly to a diabetes nurse about your diabetes care. This may include topics such as: your glucose levels, insulin pump settings, the amount of insulin you’re using
If you have questions about your blood sugar or insulin dosage, we kindly ask that you upload data from your sensor or glucose meter beforehand. This helps us support you more effectively.
Please note: The scheduled call hours are only for people with type 1 diabetes who are currently under treatment at Diabeter. If you are 18 years or older, you should call yourself. If you are under 18, your parents may call on your behalf.
Who will you speak to?
The person who answers the phone during the scheduled call hours may vary. You’ll be connected to the diabetes nurse currently on duty, which is not necessarily your regular care provider. This colleague has access to your Diabeter medical file and can offer appropriate advice based on your treatment history.
