What is CloudCare?
CloudCare connects to your glucose sensor, insulin pump, or blood glucose meter - no matter which device you use. It brings all your blood glucose data together in one place and monitors your glucose levels. If something seems off, it alerts your diabetes care team so they can step in when needed.
CloudCare helps us tailor diabetes care more closely to your needs. You won’t receive daily messages from your care team, but when your glucose levels are out of range, we can offer timely advice. And when things are going well, CloudCare means fewer in-person appointments at Diabeter.
What does CloudCare mean for you?
With CloudCare, your glucose data is automatically displayed in the Diabeter app. One of its key features is the heatmap - a clear visual overview of your recent glucose readings. Each value is color-coded to show how high or low it was, making it easier to track patterns and understand your blood glucose levels over time.
CloudCare is for everyone
Almost everyone receiving care at Diabeter can switch to CloudCare. Your diabetes care team will ask if you’d like to use it.
We tailor CloudCare to your individual needs. If you prefer more frequent appointments at Diabeter - or if CloudCare shows that your glucose levels need extra attention - we’ll schedule a consultation, either online or at one of our locations.
